About Your Therapist
Hello! My passion for Physical Therapy (PT) stems from my volunteer experience on a Hippotherapy farm and later work experience at WRNMMC. I began volunteering at a Hippotherapy farm which provided PT for wounded soldiers and disabled children. I was fascinated by the mind-body connection and thoroughly enjoyed stepping through their PT experience alongside them. Later, I was working with wounded warriors, doing research in various novel prosthetics when I began working with a specific individual. I remember a day on which he asked if I would like to come watch him walk for the first time on his new prosthetic legs. Witnessing this moment, the sheer joy on his and the PT’s faces, and then subsequently working with him to finally run in his prosthetic legs and get back to his new “normal” facilitated my realization that a career in PT would offer me similar rewarding experiences.
My previous experience includes my work at WRNMMC; Concentra in Ft. Worth, TX; KidsCare Pediatric Home Health in Dallas, TX; Results Physiotherapy in Bandera Point, TX; and Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Dallas, TX. I have worked in both Outpatient Ortho and Pediatric Home Health settings and have experience treating a variety of orthopedic conditions (e.g. occupational injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and acute-on-chronic conditions, congenital diseases/disorders, neurologic disorders, etc).Â
My current experience includes my position at Thrive SPC as a pediatric home health PT and Concierge Orthopedics as a travel PT. For pediatrics, I evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Tetralogy of Fallot, DiGeorge Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Leukemia, Developmental Delay, Angelman's Syndrome, and Down Syndrome. For adults, I evaluate and treat diagnoses including but not limited to low back pain, sports injuries, trigger point pain, joint replacements, osteoarthritis, and cancer related pain. I am responsible for all aspects of each patient’s care, including evaluations, daily visits, referrals, and multidisciplinary collaboration (e.g. PCP/OT/SLP/O&P, medical equipment companies).Â
When I am not at work, I enjoy competitively dancing internationally in West Coast Swing, anything outdoors (e.g. fishing, hiking, camping), wedding planning, crafting, reading, and spending time with my family and animals.

WHAT PATIENTS ARE SAYING....
"I was prescribed physical therapy for long term hip and nerve pain that stemmed from a back surgery in 2021. I got SO lucky to work with Erica!! She helped me understand the mechanics of my body and showed real care and interest in my experience with pain. I now understand more than ever how my body works and how to problem shoot issues I run into. I was relieved of daily pain that I had for three years and left with a new hopeful perspective of getting to live better physically. I can’t thank Erica enough!" - CD
