Dr. Lauren DeFilippi has enjoyed practicing physical therapy for 18 years, servicing the residents of Southwestern Pennsylvania as a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. She specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, focusing primarily on shoulder, knee and low back injuries. Her interests include treating the overhead athlete, specifically baseball players, though she enjoys the weekend warriors too!

Dr. Lauren DeFilippi provides evidenced-based therapy consisting of manual interventions, IASTM and progressive exercise prescription. She takes an individualized approach to all patient encounters, striving to determine root cause and treating the patient in his or her entirety.

Dr. Sara Jakab and is a licensed physical therapist in Florida. She graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2014. Dr. Jakab earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies from Rutgers University, where she was a member of the Division I Women's Gymnastics team. Dr. Sara experienced the pain of injury throughout her 20-year career as a gymnast and understands the importance of quality rehabilitative services.

Dr. Sara Jakab experience lies in pediatric care, sports-related injuries, general orthopedic concerns, and congenital or acquired neurological conditions. Dr. Jakab is knowledgeable in the areas of equipment management, orthotic management, and general fitness planning. She continues to expand my knowledge in the areas of chronic pain and geriatric care as well. Her mission is to help individuals lead healthy lives free from pain with improved independence. She enjoys spending free time with her wonderful husband, cute mini goldendoodle, and amazing friends and family. Her interests include playing board games, traveling, hiking, baking, and dancing.

OUR SPECIALITY

Our founder, Kelli Chandler, started Concierge Orthopedics in 2016 as a way to treat patients that were unable to make it to traditional outpatient physical therapy practices & became a mobile physical therapist. She noticed a trend in the outpatient physical therapy game. Patient deductibles were climbing. Physical Therapists were double & triple booked. Patients often received shorter visits with reduced one-on-one time. Patients with small children at home or demanding work schedules could not make it to physical therapy appointments during normal office hours. She noticed a need for a mobile physical therapist in her community.
